Equine Brain Infection Meets Equiscope Therapy

Equine Brain Infection Meets Equiscope Therapy
December 14, 2022

If you start to notice that your horse is acting out of character and presenting some unusual symptoms, you might start to worry that a brain infection has developed. Your mind starts spinning as you question – What should I do now? Is there time for protocol, or is it too late? Where do I start?

You’re right to worry. Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) is a serious brain infection that affects horses, and it’s prevalent in the Americas.

Early diagnosis and protocol are therefore critical.

Your first thought is probably that your horse will need medication or invasive protocol. And you know this is expensive and sometimes unsuccessful!

So what else might help?

The Electro-Equiscope is a non-invasive therapy that can reduce inflammation of the spine and brain. Later, we’ll show you how the Equiscope can promote the cellular communication needed for your horse’s body to be able to recover from EPM – as it did for Cash.

But first, let’s look at EPM itself.

What is EPM?

EPM is a degenerative neurological disease of the Central Nervous System (CNS), which affects the brain and/or spinal cord of a horse. The most common cause of the disease is the protozoal parasite, which horses ingest through infected animal feces – commonly the opossum’s – that have contaminated feed, hay, or water.

EPM symptoms

Early diagnosis and protocol are the best hope of recovery for EPM, but a word of caution here. The signs can mimic other neurological diseases and vary dramatically from horse to horse.

  • muscle weakness
  • paralysis of the muscles of the eyes, face, or mouth
  • abnormal gaits, lameness, and loss of sensation along the face, neck, or body
  • drooping eyes, ears, or lip
  • head tilt, poor balance, and difficulty in swallowing or vocalizing
  • seizures or collapsing

Equiscope Counters EPM

The Equiscope, however, is a unique instrument. It can scan and decipher abnormal and damaged cellular tissue. It then sends an “intelligent” corrective current to compromised cells, and this normalizes and relaxes the tissue – which allows the body to return to homeostasis and heal itself.

In this way, by promoting natural cellular restoration, the Equiscope works against EPM to remove pain and inflammation. Moreover, the therapy is non-invasive, non-chemical, painless, and often works faster than traditional medicine.

Let’s look at what happened when Cash received Equiscope therapy.

How Equiscope Therapy Helped Heal Cash

Cash first came to us after being diagnosed and treated for EPM unsuccessfully. Traditional medicine had failed to treat his brain infection, and Cash needed help.

With each Equiscope therapy session, Cash showed visible improvement. The technician used various protocols, and applied plates and probes in various frequencies, modes, and intensities.

Here’s a chart of Cash’s progress so you can see how amazing it was to get him back to health so quickly.
