Are you reading this at 3am because you’re suffering from insomnia? Have you been scouring the internet with search topics like “how do I know if I have insomnia?”, “what can I do to get rid of insomnia?”, or “will I ever sleep through the night again???”

Rest assured, you will. Tom had the same questions running through his head night after night until he found out about Equiscope therapy. But more on that later.

What is Insomnia?

Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that comes in three flavors:

  • transient (temporary), which lasts for less than one week
  • acute (short-term), which is caused by a stressful life event
  • chronic (long-term), which occurs at least three nights per week for 3+ months

Insomnia makes it hard to fall asleep, impossible to stay asleep, or causes you to wake up too early and not be able to get back to sleep.

In addition, insomnia will zap your energy, mess with your mood, kill your concentration, and take a toll on your physical and mental health. But we don’t have to tell you that: Approximately 33% to 50% of the adult population experience insomnia symptoms.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably already going through the frustrations and side effects of insomnia. Many articles will tell you that you don’t have to put up with sleepless nights. All you need to do is make simple changes in your daily habits.

But what if changing habits or undergoing things like cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia don’t work?

In Tom’s case, he was able to get to sleep okay, but after four hours or so, he would wake up. And he wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep. Sound familiar?

Tom tried the usual lifestyle and sleep hygiene recommendations, but no amount of reading, eating, or praying worked for him. Although Tom is ex-military and had suffered the effects of PTSD in the past, he didn’t feel this was the cause of his current predicament. And he wasn’t interested in taking medications to help him get to sleep and stay asleep.

Then he found Equiscope. He’d read a case study about someone who’d been in a similar situation and had great results from using Electro-Equiscope therapy. So Tom went for four sessions and had therapy using the headband protocol.

Equiscope therapy uses micro and pico currents to recharge damaged or “dead” cells. Once repaired, these cells carry more than enough electrical currents to do their jobs and keep your body healthy and happy.

What is the headband protocol?

The headband protocol is one method of delivering those microcurrents to your body.

The headband is a simple, grey plastic Velcro band that wraps around your head. The electrode cups embedded in it connect to the Equiscope machine, operated by a trained and expert Equiscope technician. The therapy is non-invasive, comfortable, and is safe for your brain.

After Tom’s first Electro-Equiscope therapy session, he slept seven hours. With regular follow-ups, he’s consistently slept through the night and is very happy with his results!
